We are committed to using an integrative design approach.  We believe that working closely with the clients, stakeholders, trades and other building professionals, allows us to create the most efficient, innovative and sophisticated design possible. To ensure a smooth and stress-free experience, we review timelines and budgets throughout the design process.

Our team of designers can assist you with as much or as little as you would like for your project. Our services range from hourly interior design consultations to full (concept to completion) designs packages.

What to expect with our full design packages:

Initial Meeting

At our first meeting, we seek to learn as much about the project scope as possible. We want to know ‘why’ you want to create your new space and what you expect see in the end. We want to know your expectations of us and the design process. From this point, we prepare an estimate of services tailored to your specific needs.

Presentation of Estimate

We present our estimates to you in person rather than just send you a list of services tied to numbers on a page. At this second meeting, we welcome you to our studio to discuss the scope of services, present you with a broad concept of ideas through imagery, and review the estimate of costs. At the same time, you will get to meet your design team, reassuring you that your project will be in capable hands.

Concept/Schematic Design

This stage of the design process includes the preparation of concept plans, hand drawn sketches as well as preliminary thoughts on materials and finishes. We then meet with you and your contractor (if possible), to present our initial ideas. Meeting in conjunction with the building professionals allows us to identify any issues that may arise during construction and enables us to proceed with an efficient and feasible design.

Design Development

During this phase, we develop our ideas discussed in the concept meeting and prepare a preliminary drawing package. This package can include plans, elevations, sections as well as 3Ds. Specifications of finishes and fixtures are produced in conjunction with estimated cost of supply, allowing ourselves, the clients and the building professionals to stay within budget.

Final Contract Drawings & Specifications

Ideas from the previous stage are refined and developed into a final drawing package, including final specifications and product costs.

Contract Admin & On-Site Construction Review

The objective of this phase is to administer contract documents, review submittals by the contractor, and to verify that the work being completed is in accordance with the contract documents. This phase is an important final step to ensuring the success of your project.
