Who we did it for:

Sigfusson-Magalas Family

Why we did it:

Kevin & Arla were looking for functional, fun family space. They needed a place for relaxing, entertaining, and working. Their unfinished lower level would be a hub for family and friends. We designed an entertainment wall to divide the main living space into 2 areas; one for curling up on the couch and watching movies, getting a drink at the bar or sitting at the banquet and playing games. The other area housed a television for kids’ gaming and individual desk space for each family member. With typical 8 foot ceiling heights, we designed an oval bulkhead that allowed for part of the ceiling to be at maximum height and other portions to be lowered to hide beams and utilities. This also offered us a detail to feature cove lighting. Detailed millwork design was a significant focus, this made the project truly one of a kind.

Kevin & Arla have a beautifully crafted family space.
