Breezy Lakehouse

Project Breakdown

Project Type:

SCOPE:

Full Renovation

DISCOVERY:

This lake front home needed significant reconfiguring and aesthetic alterations, both inside and out, to meet our clients’ requirements.  As a family hub, this home away from home needed to have enough room for all the visiting children and grandkids. All three floors required layout changes which triggered the removal and relocation of the existing staircase. The views to the lake were a priority, so the exterior architecture was overhauled.  The feel of the space needed to be bright, refreshing, relaxing with a hit of sophistication.  This secondary home needed to be a place of retreat and connection.

Our Focus:

Design

  • exterior architectural design
  • interior layouts
  • millwork design & interior detailing
  • lighting layouts
  • Interior & exterior finish & fixture selections
  • furniture layouts
  • 3D renderings
  • construction drawings & specifications

Management & Procurement

  • partnering with the building team to ensure the design was implemented according to plan
  • coordinating with the engineering team

Accomplishments:

The entire interior and exterior of this lake home was re-designed allowing the clients to enjoy a large kitchen, dining & living space. Additional bedrooms allow guests to come and stay. Large, beautiful windows create connection to the stunning beach view. This home away from home is bright and inviting. It is a place of retreat and connection. This revamped lake home gives our clients a retreat away from their busy lives where they can unwind, relax and enjoy time with their family and friends.
