Accomplishments:
In the kitchen and dinette, storage and flow were greatly improved. New cabinetry extending to the ceiling provided accessible organization, and a refreshed backsplash in warm yet neutral tones introduced subtle character. The removal of the kitchen door and window simplified access to the screen room and BBQ area, creating better circulation. A table remained in the dinette for daily meals, and the existing flooring was preserved, since the layout changes did not require replacement.
The dining room gained a fresh sense of warmth with updated wall finishes and décor, while the clients’ existing furniture was retained, keeping a sense of continuity and familiarity in the space.
In the great room, new furnishings and décor brought a more finished, inviting feel. The fireplace wall remained a central feature, now enhanced with additional shelving. Abundant seating was introduced to accommodate family gatherings, while the clients’ favorite coffee table stayed in place as a cherished anchor piece.
The main bathroom became both more functional and more welcoming for guests. Added cabinetry and optimized closet storage provided better organization for the daughters’ belongings, while clutter was reduced for a cleaner, more guest-friendly look. The shower was enlarged, fitted with a bench, and repositioned for improved use, with new towel hooks and bars completing the refresh.
Finally, the foyer was modernized with a new front door, giving the entryway a contemporary look that set the tone for the rest of the home.
