SCOPE:

New Build

DISCOVERY:

Our clients were born & raised in Winnipeg, then travelled and lived around North America, pursuing and developing their careers.  After returning to their roots, they wanted to build their forever home in a central, culturally diverse urban community where they would raise their family. They requested a modern farmhouse that would blend into this established neighbourhood. Their desired aesthetic was a blend of clean architecture with hints of natural materials for a warm & welcoming environment.

Our Focus:

Design

  • millwork design & interior detailing
  • lighting layouts
  • Interior and exterior finish & fixture selections
  • furniture layouts
  • 3D renderings

Management & Procurement

  • partnering with the building team to ensure the design was implemented according to plan.

Accomplishments:

The layout of this home was established before we came on board; however, there were many details to design. From cabinetry, wainscotting, custom tile, and fireplace mantle, to colour palette, textures, and lighting, nothing was left to chance. Our clients had a vision for their home and it was our mission to bring it all together. The fresh white interior is layered with warm wood and hits of stunning bold colour. We also selected the exterior finishes to ensure that the home was cohesive inside and out. This new build fits effortlessly into its established neighbourhood and offers our clients a beautiful environment to raise a family.
