Accomplishments:

With helicopters as the inspiration, we worked with the owners to design a functional office that included: pilot rooms, reception, corporate washrooms, locker room, kitchen, and boardroom. We used the shape of the helicopter to inform the architecture of the space. The boardroom boasts a runway wall feature & ceiling detail. The reception has a layered suspended ceiling to create lift and balance. The finishes are raw, earthy, and reflect the Forest Helicopters brand.

The final product is a dynamic office that showcases their business to their clientele and brings pride to their staff.

Back to Spaces
S3 took the stress off our shoulders. They listened to our wishes, provided invaluable insight, and helped us make educated decisions. Interior design is hard, we had no idea all the details that S3 had to manage! Their 13 Step process assured that we understood all the available options and that we selected the best solutions for our space. The Design Development presentation showed us all the finishes in person, and we could see the design clearly with 3D images. At times when we were unsure of the vision, we trusted in Carrie and Zoe’s confidence and expertise, and we are thankful that we did. We are delighted with the final product, as S3 advocated for the design, listened to our needs, and addressed our concerns during construction. While COVID delays and installation issues frustrated and slowed us down, S3 was attentive in supporting us along the way. Guests that come into our new space comment on how nice it is! One customer even said the washroom was the “nicest one he’d been in from Calgary to Toronto”, which is high praise!
